The room was adequate, but the shower had mould and grime around it.

The breakfast features freshly cooked meals that could easily make your morning—an enjoyable touch in the heart of town. The well-maintained garden annex offers a quieter retreat, ideal for relaxation after a long day exploring.
The rooms could use more attention. one had issues with cleanliness, including leftover items from prior guests like a dog toy and dirty laundry. Some essentials like toilet roll ran low, and we noticed that noise from doors shutting made it hard to find rest. The steep stairs might feel a bit daunting for some, though they’re manageable after a short while.

would stay there again
The quadruple room was spacious with two bunks and a double bed. There was a nice outdoor dining area and the shower pressure was fine. The food was incredible, breakfast included full English with vegetarian options. The location was perfect for exploring St Just and just a short walk to a co-op and chemist.

St Just has a culinary treasure trove! The local cafés like The Dog and Rabbit Café serve up fab brekkies, while the vibe at The Commercial is nothing short of buzzing. Plus, my room was a snug haven despite the quirks around me.
The noise got a bit wild with doors slamming and quite the racket from the pub. Bin not emptied? Bit cheeky, especially with no cereal or spread for toast—but you know what? Worth it for the charm!

Perfect family getaway!
We had a fab stay for 7 nights! The location is spot on for exploring, and the kids loved the nearby park. Breakfast was seriously delish, and that little beer garden? Perfect for grabbing a quick drink while the kids played. Only bummer was the noise from the market square late at night. But overall, really enjoyed it!

Improve accessibility for seniors, especially the steep stairs.

Charming atmosphere and great food!
I had a lovely stay that was highlighted by the charming atmosphere and delicious meals. The staff went out of their way to ensure we felt welcomed, and the food was exceptional, especially the breakfast options that included local produce. the noise level from the pub in the evenings could be bothersome for those seeking a quieter night.
